BT Sport re-design


Before

This was a great opportunity to breathe new life into a very old web page that had lost its hierarchy and impact due to years of content and feature creep. Using BT’s brand-new visual design language, which consisted of a small collection of Atomic elements, I was the first designer to utilise what we had and flesh out a full page.

After

During the discovery and planning stages, I spoke to numerous stakeholders and BT’s Research Team to understand what was working and wasn’t. I love a challenge and, above all, bringing an old design up-to-date with a new visual language, spacing and layout grid to emphasise its editorial nature.

Result: This design was very well received within the BT Sport team and also within the wider Design community at BT. Everyone agreed the hero, header styles, colours new grid etc, worked really well to improve how people engaged with the content.
